In customer service, Abby greets clientele, answers and directs calls, coordinates meetings, receives payments, and assists clients with their needs. She is adept at responding to questions, delivering tax returns, and addressing client concerns while managing client databases. Abby also plays a vital role in organizing client appreciation events throughout the year for financial service clients. In office support, her responsibilities include executive duties, clerical tasks, assembling tax returns, processing mail, organizing documents, maintaining filing systems, coordinating with colleagues, implementing administrative procedures, managing inventory records, maintaining office supplies, billing clients, and providing support to new team members.
Abby is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree with a minor in psychology at OHSU, and has been working part-time in our office since high school. This unique blend of academic pursuit and professional experience has equipped her with specific skills related to her work and provided valuable insights into workplace dynamics, time management, communication strategies, and teamwork.
Abby's favorite part of her job is having the opportunity to make connections in her community and meet wonderful people. She loves working with her team, considering them an extended family. The support and kindness she has received from her colleagues go beyond expectations, creating a workplace environment where teamwork, care for each other, and dedication to making a difference in the community are evident.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, and exploring new places. She describes herself as a plant fanatic and hopes to indulge her passion for travel more in the future. Abby's dynamic presence and dedication make her an integral part of our team and a valuable asset to both colleagues and clients alike.
